Tia's most infamous feature is her bright red hair, which makes it nearly impossible to escape unnoticed in a crowd. Her pale skin is home to countless freckles, which is a feature she has always disliked about her appearance. Adorning her belly button, is a piercing she got in her "rebellious" teenage years.
Most people would describe Tia as the quintessential good girl. Growing up in South with her grandmother, Rose, she was taught to have good manners and treat the people around her with kindness. To this day she is good-hearted, sweet, and wouldn’t hurt a fly. Unfortunately, being raised in this way made Tia incredibly naïve. She assumes that everyone is honest, compassionate, and has good intentions. This can make her easy to take advantage of, as she always wants to see the best in people.
School has never been Tia’s strong suit, as her grandmother used to say, “Thank God you’re pretty.” She can be slow to the punch, and is often the last one in the room to get a joke. Though she is not academically gifted, she is a wizard with a needle and thread. As a young girl, her Rose sewed all her clothes, teaching her all the tips and tricks along the way. When her grandmother passed away, Tia was thankful to have this knowledge, and continued to sew her own clothes all through high school. Currently, her talents are put to good use as a tailor at Trudy’s Fashion.
Tia can be quite co-dependent, and looks to others for affection and approval. Having become accustomed to the partnership of her grandmothers, she now seeks this same companionship from others. She is quick to call someone her best-friend, and tries to spend very little time alone. Thankfully, she is a fairly easy person to love. She is the kind of girl who will bring you cake to work on your birthday, clean your whole house while your away, or surprise you with tickets to a movie. Some people enjoy it, and others are infuriated by her constant presence.
Though she may seem the sensitive type, Tia is quite strong. Having endured the death of her parents and grandmother, she learned quickly that she was going to have to grow up and take care of herself. She is able to keep her chin up through the times, and knows that things will always pull through.
Tia was born on May 17, 1994, to Angie and Jack Reynolds. After trying unsuccessfully for years, they were delighted to finally bring a beautiful baby girl into the world. They strived to give her the perfect life, and for a few years they did. Grand celebrations on her birthdays, all the toys she could imagine, and good night stories. Tragically, on September 9, 1999, Angie and Jack died in a hit-and-run. Her grandmother, Rose Reynolds, was more than happy to adopt the bubbly little girl.
Elementary school was challenging for Tia, as she envied those around her that still had both their parents. Her bright red hair and freckles made her an easy target for teasing from her peers, so she spent most of her time alone. She delighted in Louisiana summers, getting to chase butterflies and catch frogs. Tia became very close with her grandmother, and looked forward to coming home and sewing with her.
As a teenager, Tia began acting out, and rebelling against the relationship her grandmother had worked hard to build. The death of her parents, and years of bullying, had filled her with a flurry of emotions that she did not manage well. Tia began hanging out with the local “hooligans” (as her grandmother called them). She smoked weed, got her belly button pierced, and rarely came home for dinner. On July 26, 2010, Rose passed away in her sleep, and Tia was left to fend for herself. To this day, she regrets the state she left her and her grandmother’s relationship in.
Rose had left her home to Tia in her will, so she was able to continue to live there and take care of herself. She smartened up, working hard to at least graduate from high school. After school, she found a job with a local seamstress and fine-tuned her sewing skills. Though she had many brief flings, she has never had a long-term romantic partner.
In 2014, the Louisiana flood hit, and Tia was forced to move to Lochland Grove. She was quick to love the small community feeling, and found herself feeling right at home. Though she has heard the stories, Tia remains blissfully naive, choosing to consider the stories local gossip.

Rose Reynolds (Tia's grandmother) - After the death of her parents, Tia was raised by her grandmother. Though she is now deceased, Tia owes everything in her life to her grandmother.
Angie and Jack Reynolds (Tia's parents) - Tia has little memory of her parents, as they died in a car crash when she was five. When she looks at pictures of them, she can clearly see she acquired her mother's red hair and her father's smile.
