We are a Real Life Roleplay site focused on enriching character driven stories through events, newspaper headlines, and even death. Set in modern day Connecticut, our background plot follows the on-goings of a small town with a murderous past. Whether your character explores it is up to you. Life is about choice - this is your story. Our goal is to provide a place where you will feel comfortable writing it. Come join the fun!

YvvyCharactersA Little About MeWhat brought me to the community? I was looking for a small, happy, welcoming environment with a laid back atmosphere. At first I found it myself on RPGI, where I staff, but than Morgan also suggested it and that pretty much sealed my interest. My favorite roleplay genre is... Actually I much prefer post-apocalyptic/zombie, but I've been known to dabble in RL/fantasy mashups. Why do I roleplay? I suppose this is the same for a lot of people.....an escape? I like to let my mind just drift off with a roleplay. I enjoy it, I do it for fun, and I love writing.Do I have a preferred character gender? I've always leaned hard on female characters. I just don't generally have as much fun playing males, and that's something I've tried to overcome in the past, but have since decided...why? Why make myself miserable playing somethingI just don't want to play?Character inspiration comes from...Oh jesus, everywhere? All of the places. I get character ideas, post ideas, plot ideas, from things as simple as a commercial for toothpaste, or some random picture I saw on google. It literally can come from all over the place. THE SOUL!Is there anything I want people to know? I am a single, disabled, mother of three young children. I won't always be cappable of swift auto replies. I'm also a self taught coder and graphics artist, so if you ever need help there. Preferences:Mature Threads: Anything goesI'm open to EVERYTHING. If my partner prefers lighter, FTB scenes, than just let me know. Otherwise I tend not to censor myself.Violent Threads:Anything GoesLanguage: MatureMirror: YesYeeeesss? I say this tentatively because if my partner is giving me very small posts, I am not actually always capable of giving very small posts. I mean I'm not going to slap someone in the face with two thousand words if the situation doesn't call for it, but 300 words is pretty light for me, so anything under that is probably not going to be a common occurance.Pre-determined Relations : On-the-flyI do not pre-plot, I do not close ended plot, and I do not detail anything out about the future aside from "Maybe if we did this". I like things to happen naturally, to flow around the character and develop with situations and people. A relationship can end, a person can cheat, things do happen. That is how real life is, and that is how I enjoy rping. Membership Awards
