Volunteering Your Character

Lochland Grove is a real life roleplay site with a background plot of mysteries and murder. The rules, up to the point this thread was posted, stated you could not volunteer a character for death. That changes now.

Before volunteering your character, we’d like to establish a few important rules:

  • You do not choose when they die or how.
  • Once you have volunteered them there is a grace period of one month to change your mind. After that they are slated to die for the site plot.
  • Once dead you can continue to roleplay them up to the day they die. We aren’t taking your roleplay away from you the moment they hit the mortuary. Take time to close up any plot and threads.
  • Once dead, the character is off the table for the whole of Lochland Grove site history. If they die and you leave the site then return, they are still dead.
  • NPCs are not characters. Please do not ask us to murder your NPCs for you.
  • If you volunteer a character, you are not allowed to tell others they are up for death.

    How to Apply

  • To apply, first fill out form.
  • The information on the form will cover who you are are, who your character is, the start and end date of the grace period, and the date roleplay-wise that they are free for death.
  • The roleplay date is so that we don't kill them during a time the character would have been active. Plans do happen. We want to make this as convenient as possible.
  • Private Message Kat to submit your forum.
