Kat was doing that whole crazysauce thing that she tended to do. Jaya was doing that whole list thing. Lists were magical creatures that kept the poor staff member sane. If only they were tangible enough to cuddle at night. Unfortunately not. She awoke to paper stuck to her face. Without thinking she pulled it off and realized she wasn't home anymore. This would have been a good time to panic, but then there was a Kat. She was babbling about parts of lochland as if this was a typical day. Suddenly it was a ghost mystery and Kat was heading to the community college. Considering Kat's direction sense, this couldn't go well. She is going to get so lost. Jaya mused silently, deciding to roll with this.

I guess I will head off to Looseleaf books...” Jaya said thoughtfully. She rolled along a rolladex of names in her brain. She had them all there. Random information. Did the maiden names of each character’s mother help their quest? Probably not. Hm… Kat was wandering off. WAIT, Kat was wandering off!. “Should we… meet up somewhere?” Jaya asked, voice softening as she realized that her friend was already in her own little world. Even from here she could hear Kat mumbling to herself about where she was actually going, and trying to convince herself she'd be fine.

I guess not…

With a shrug she headed off toward Lochland's used book store. She had always thought it was a pretty cool place.. Lots of loose leafs and pages and such. She wandered down the streets. Cars were so much easier, but cars didn't have vending machines. Jaya bought herself a coke and sipped it casually as she made her way through the town. It was finished before she entered the bookstore.

The store was quaint as she imagined it. Even from just inside the door she could tell she would like it here. A little cafe rested to the left. People sat casually at small round tables, and at the counter was a handsome looking man asking if ‘Erin’ was ready for lunch. That was Natalie’s character Charlie. It was strange to see him in person. So much more expressive than a picture...er.. but she was getting ahead of herself.

Where should she look for the Newspaper Piece?
